A new Worm called Sobig-E is spreading out in the net ! It spread out via network or using it's own Mail engine to sent a copy of itself to all Mail adresses it finds on your computer
To prevent being infected by any type of Virus make sure your E-Mail InBox is scanned with an Antivuris program and make sure you have all the latest Security patches from MS installed !!

Op Trend Micro staat hoe je em handmatig kan verwijderen. Dit is ook een goede test om te kijken OF je het virus ook hebt.
Ik draai sinds kort NAV2003 en heb daarvoor dit virus ook al in me laadje gehad, maar ben niet geinfecteerd ofzo, omdat ik het email nooit heb open gemaakt. wel bekeken met outlook, maar niet de attachment geopend.

This procedure terminates the running malware process from memory.
Open Windows Task Manager. On Windows 95/98/ME systems, press CTRL+ALT+DELETE On Windows NT/2000/XP systems, press CTRL+SHIFT+ESC, and click the Processes tab. In the list of running programs*, locate the process: WinSSK32.EXE Select the malware process, then press either the End Task or the End Process button, depending on the version of Windows on your system. To check if the malware process has been terminated, close Task Manager, and then open it again. Close Task Manager. *NOTE: On systems running Windows 95/98/ME, Windows Task Manager may not show certain processes. You may use a third party process viewer to terminate the malware process. Otherwise, continue with the next procedure, noting additional instructions.
Als je geen proces hebt dat zo heet, heb je dus geen virus. simple.

wat was de afzender?
want zoiets open ik dus echt nooit

bij mij was de afzender steeds onbekend, maar ik kon zien aan het email adres waar ze naartoe stuurden dat het niet voor mij was. ik krijg namelijk veel spam op dat email adres en nu dus ook virussen.
het onderwerp is wel altijd hetzelfde, Re: Movie krijg ik meestal
en de mail zelf zegt altijd: See Attached File.
Meestal zat er een file bij genaamd movie.zip

Tegenwoordig kun je niet meer 1 afzender van 1 virus aanwijzen. Een virus kiest vaak zelf random de afzender dus het kan iedereen zijn.
