3D viewing without the glasses The 20.1" NEC LCD2010X display was converted into the auto stereoscopic display. By doing this one can see auto stereoscopic 3D images or animations without the use of glasses or any other aids in ”3D real time”. The 3D object portrayed is not only displayed in two dimensions, as it has been until now, it is seen in 3D. It appears as though a hologram jumps out at you which makes one want to touch the image but ends up grabbing only air.
Product advantages: No shutter - or 3D glasses needed
Minor optical crosstalk, only 2 % between left and right picture view. That means there is as good as no overlapping of the left and right images.
High resolution of (2x 512) x 1280, which means a visual resolution of 1024 x 1280 pixels
Excellent depth depiction
High quality images
Fantastic 3D impressions, good enough to want to touch
Realistic impression
Application uses: The market had to wait a long time for a stereoscopic display with corresponding quality. The solution is finally here now: the stereoscopic display from A.C.T. Kern. Due to its advantages, like the ever so slight optical crosstalk and a never seen before clear depth perception, the display can be used for almost any field which is dependent on 3D visualisation. Some examples are:
- Medicine - CAD - Military - Earth science
